Figueira Champions Classic 1st for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team
The Portuguese classic will be contested for the first time by our team.
“I am satisfied with my return to the Challenge Mallorca, and with the way I started my 2024 season, by being immediately on the pace. During the February races, I hope to achieve even more results. The Figueira Champions Classic, which takes place in Portugal, is adapted to my physical characteristics. I go there with the intention of achieving the best possible result. I am very motivated and each race will be a very important test, also in view of March where some more important competitions will take place for me. I hope to do my best in Portugal to show the team all of my qualities.”
“This will be our first participation in this competition. It is a test which is not easy from the point of view of the proposed route. It ends with a circuit that the runners will have to complete three times. The organizers have added an additional loop compared to the 2023 edition. Our best card will be Vincenzo Albanese, because it is a race route that suits him perfectly. He can go for a good performance in this Portuguese event.”
