Maxime Bouet: “above all, make the collective shine”

The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team will line up for the first time in its history at the start of the Alpes Isère Tour, the benchmark class 2, as Maxime Bouet points out.

Hugh Harvey

“The Alpes Isère Tour will be my very first stage race with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team. This is a very nice experience for me. There will be stages for pure sprinters, but also mountain stages and others with quite a bit of elevation gain. It’s a great challenge and a way to gain experience for a sprinter like me. And of course when the stages correspond to my profile, I will give my best to achieve good sprints for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Development team.”

Rémi Lelandais

“It’s always nice to race in a race that takes place not far from home, like the Alpes Isère Tour. The first part of the event can smile on the sprinters and punchers of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team. The finale will be more for the climbers with big passes to negotiate at the end of the week, but we have within our squad riders who have climbing qualities. Our objective will be to do everything well in order to highlight the red and black colors of ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement.

Maxime Bouet, sports director

“The Alpes Isère Tour is a benchmark class 2 event, offering courses for all rider profiles: pure sprinters, punchers and climbers. There are plenty of possibilities. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will have the opportunity to express themselves on each type of route offered. For me, it is the collective objective which must take precedence over individual objectives; the key to success lies in this. We will have possibilities, opportunities with the group involved in this competition. You will have to rise to the occasion, run intelligently, and not get trapped. We have defined goals. It’s up to us to give ourselves the means to achieve them.”
