Arnaud Gérard: "sprinters often succeed"

The Circuit de Wallonie usually crowns a fast man, even if the final of the Belgian race is slightly hilly.

Anthony Delaplace

‘The Circuit de Wallonie will be my return to racing. I took a break after Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the first stage of the season. I went to Tenerife to prepare for the second half of the season. It was a good week to get back into the swing of things, with a fair amount of work done. This will be my second appearance at the Circuit de Wallonie, which is a great classic on the Belgian calendar and finishes with three laps to complete. My job will be to support our two sprinters Amaury Capiot and Luca Mozzato.’

Arnaud Gérard, sports director

‘The Circuit de Wallonie is an event that generally crowns sprinters. This competition is made up of a first part on the line, and a second consisting of three laps of an eleven-kilometre circuit with some false flats. We will have two cards with Luca Mozzato and Amaury Capiot. The aim is to put in a good performance on this Circuit de Wallonie’.
