Amaury Capiot: “Thank you to the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team”

Amaury Capiot took 3rd place at the end of the Bouchain massive sprint, which took place at the end of the 3rd stage, this Thursday of the 4 Days of Dunkirk.

Amaury Capiot

“This 3rd stage of the 4 Days of Dunkirk went by quickly. We were waiting for the borders to form, and we, ARKEA-B&B HOTELS, were well placed at the head of the pack. But there was not enough wind to form any. Halfway through this stage on Thursday, it rained a lot. It was a little cold, even. But during the last forty kilometers, fortunately, the weather was milder, and at the end the road was dry. The entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did a great job for me today. I would like to thank all my teammates. In the finale, Arnaud Démare, Kévin Ledanois and Mathis Le Berre gave 200% for me. I’m going to get third place in Bouchain and the four seconds of bonuses which are attributed to this position at the finish line. This evening I occupy third place in the provisional general classification of these 4 Days of Dunkirk, and that is a good thing which allows the car to be well placed for the cobblestone stage on Friday. If we ever need it, we will immediately have the car by our side. The objective is to continue to progress in the general classification of these 4 Days of Dunkirk. It won’t be easy, because the competition is high here, but we will do everything we can collectively to achieve it.”

Yvon Ledanois, Directeur sportif

“This 3rd stage of the 4 Days of Dunkirk brings us great satisfaction with the 3rd place of Amaury Capiot, here in Bouchain. There is also the fact that we saw Arnaud Démare come and rub in the finale to lend a hand to Amaury. These are interesting signals with a view to the next deadlines. It’s also reassuring for him and for us. We will continue to do what we have put in place since the start of the race for Amaury. This evening, Aumary Capiot occupies third place in the provisional general classification, before the cobblestone stage tomorrow, Friday. »
