Clémence Latimier joins the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, and will start in red and black on the roads of the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic on Thursday 8 May.

Clémence Latimier joins the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, and will start out in red and black on the roads of the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic on Thursday 8 May.I'm really proud to become a professional racer with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. I was a trainee there in the summer of 2024 and I did all my winter training with the team. So it makes sense for me to sign my first contract with the Breton outfit. I'm going into the second half of the season really looking forward to it. Last year, the whole team showed their confidence in me very quickly, both the team managers and my team-mates. I quickly felt at home with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. Among other things, the team enabled me to dispel some of the doubts I'd had, which in turn enabled me to progress, work for the other riders and get results too. My ambition will be to make the red and black colours shine over the coming weeks, starting with the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic, which I won last year. It's a beautiful Breton event that uses dirt roads, and a race that I really enjoy. I'm delighted to be making my debut in the red and black colours at this event. I'd also like to thank my amateur club, Team Chambéry Cyclisme compétition.

Clémence Latimier, who was a trainee with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS women's team in 2024 and has completed all the training courses with our structure, joins the team on 1 May. A gifted climber and rider, Clémence immediately found her place in our team last summer. As our racing programme intensifies, she'll be a welcome addition to the group. As a young road racer, Clémence also has plenty of room for improvement. I'd also like to thank the Chambéry Cyclisme compétition team, a benchmark in terms of training young French riders, which showed its confidence in us last year by letting Clémence become a trainee with us in the summer of 2024, and which also allowed her to take part in all the training sessions scheduled with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team this winter.

A trainee at the end of the 2024 season, Clémence has naturally strengthened our women's structure by signing her first professional contract with our team. A promising young rider, Clémence Latimier has already made a name for herself on Breton soil, winning the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic last year. To see her begin her professional career on this same race is a fitting tribute.
